A friend offered an ACN phone service that would save us money. It all seemed reasonable.

The problem was our existing digital service was not compatible.

The phone service was non-existent.

The sales people offered the service as compatible with our existing service and we believed them. At the time we had no idea this was multi-level marketing. The service wrecked our existing service for weeks while a temporary telephone was to take up the slack.

It was a fiasco. Since then ACN has been trying to charge for a service that is non-existing, has never worked and in fact cost us substantial due to bills we paid, the loss of phone service affecting our inter-net and fax machine.

Monetary Loss: $3500.

Location: Toronto, Ontario

Hiding from people? Didn't they go out of their way to reach out to you on here?

What companies don't make it tough to get a real person? I always just keep hitting "0" until someone finally says hello.

ACN has dropped their current demand for payment. Its clear this forum is working.

The problem as I see it, is there is no direct communication by fax, e-mail, or direct contact of any way to talk to the people. You must call a number and wait for ever for an over worked person speaking broken english that may or may not help you.

The service still stinks and is not professional. When your hiding from people, you have a reason for hiding.

Acn is a scam. I hope you let everyone that you speak to know how you were scammed and by who so that no others will be scammed by this PONZI SCHEME company.

Repackaged services should have been your first clue you were being scammed.

People do your research before signing anything. Report to your attorney general, also the ftc.gov Acn CAN NOT DO BUSINESS IS LOTS OF STATES BECAUSE IT IS A PONZI SCHEME

ACN can do business in every state. Show me a state they are banned in?

ACN really is no different then Best Buy. You go to Best Buy and you get a phone service from Verizon or AT&T. Same with ACN. Your bill and service still comes from Verizon or AT&T.

Not sure where you see a Ponzi scheme. ACN gets a commission from the suppliers (Verizon, AT&T etc.) for signing up customers.

ACN has their own services as well like Xoom wireless which actually uses the AT&T or Verizon network. If you want HD TV you can sign-up with Direct TV.

Sorry you feel that way about ACN but I think you are misinformed.

Hey Joe - I see that you say that ACN reps sign up people for Verizon, etc. Really?

Isn't the big thing for the reps (especially the new ones) to get their family/friends (warm market) that ALREADY have this service to put it thru them? Why should you get any kind of commission for that? I already have my phone thru Verizon, why on earth should I let my sister "sign me up" for it when I already have it. I am quite capable of getting the best deal from them so it's not like she would get me a better one.

I should just do it as a favor, right? She can get a very tiny percentage from my bill but I get no discount.

Ridiculous.

You're an *** do your research !! It's legal in all 50 states you must be one of the people unsuccessful and not your bad. Sorry I hope things look up for you :)

That's one of the problems with signing up with ACN. The reps won't take the time to check to see if the service is even compatible with your phone line, because they just want the bonuses.

Remember ACN reps are just non train everyday people, you don't need any training background to become a member just $500.00....it's not a employment company its a people manufacturing of people company....I wonder if the companies the represent know the back rounds of people that are there brokers.
