Verified ReviewerSwitche to another for our internate services
To whom it may concern,
Im writing this email because We have switched to another provider for our internet service on Tuesday, March 23rd, 2021. The internet speed from ACN is too slow and right now my kids are doing online classes so they need fast speed internet.
However, we will still keep the phone service from ACN. This email is to inform you about our decision. Please reply me.
Thank you

3 times in the last month I'm having trouble with using voice mail. Each time I call I'm on hold no less than 35 to 45 minutes.
Right now today I was on hold for 51 minutes and got disconnected. Problem not solved.
Can't fix the problem if nobody is there. This service or their lack of is definitely going to be terminated.
Preferred solution: Apology
User's recommendation: Stopo their service
Phone out of order for a month
I DID NOT SAY I WAS PISSED. I DO NOT USE THAT KIND OF LANGUAGE.
I HAVE BEEN WITHOUT MY PHONE FOR OVER A MONTH AND COULD NOT REACH ANY ONE TO COME AND FIX IT. I RECEIVED A BILL AND I SHOULD NOT HAVE TO PAY IT BECAUSE I HAD NO SERVICE.

Pyramid
In spite of all the educational resources, media warnings, and basic common sense people continue to sign up for these pyramid schemes. I had a friend who decided to sign on for ACN and live in a delusional-magical thinking world that she was going to be making "6 digits a year and retire on a balmy island" from there she would tell me about individuals who gave up their professions to work for this scheme.
She would consistently harass me to become involved in this "business venture" regardless of how many times I told her no.
She moved on to trying to get me to ask my 89yr old father to "hear her out" which I firmly said "NO" then told her to cease contact with me until she came to her senses.
I have difficulty feeling sorry for people who sign on to this corrupt nonsense as clients or sales people. You simply research this organizations and see what it is---their own business model is pyramid the products are not the moneymaker the individuals who foolishly "invest" AKA give them 500.00 to become "partners" AKA fools.
User's recommendation: DO YOU RESEARCH STOP LOOKING FOR EASY BUCK

Ex IBO
This company is BS! I signed up 10 people as customers and all of them had some sort of issue with the products or services.
Xoom energy says a low price for electricity gas etc, get your bill and not even close to what was said.
It's a legal pyramid scheme only because they offer products. Dont waste your time and money!

I called customer service so I could pay the bill. That still leaves me unable to go online. Not pleased!
Disgruntled IBO
I tried canceling my IBO account since I no longer wanted to pursue it. Changed my card info and attempted several times to contact them and cancel.
Never got through. Three months went by and no charges and I thought I was done with them. Woke up to a $225 charge on my debit card. The yearly cost.
I paid that 6 months ago and I deleted my card info from my account. How were they able to go back and charge my old card? Now Im struggling to get that charge refunded and Im not going to be able to pay my other bills.
Stay tf away from ACN. Pyramid scheme if Ive ever seen one.

Verified ReviewerANC Recruiting is Not a Scam nor Pyramid Scheme
After reading complaints and reviews here and other sites, my take about ACN, LLC ("ACN"), that uses MLM (Multi Level Marketing) recruiting and employment strategy, which raises a lot of misunderstanding, is as follows:
It's true that some companies that used MLM did scam the consumers with non-existent, poor quality and not worth-the-money, or otherwise fake products or services.
_ ACN is "not" a Scam, as it instructs its Independent Business Owners (IBOs) - who could work from home - to make sales by talking to homeowners and businesses to switch from current service provider in telephone, high speed internet, energy, home security to competitor service. In other words, they deal with products and services that already exist for everyday use.
It's true that some companies that used MLM did use pyramid scheme by having its recruits (investment level A) to recruit other people (investment level B) who would recruit other people (investment level C) who then would recruit other people (investment level D) and so on.
When the end-level recruits failed to recruit others, the business collapsed.
This made it impossible for all earlier investors to recover the money they had invested.
_ ACN is "not" a Pyramid scheme, as it rewards for making sales to individual homeowners or business owners who do not make that sales to others. Their business involves in consumption and not in investment that produces 'returns on investment.'
User's recommendation: ACN fees are high and only 1 in 100 recruits succeeded - so think twice before applying
Throwing sparkling waters that I bought
Today, there was a teenager employee helping a register. He threw some of my sparkling waters into my cart!
I could not believe it. I told him not to throw, but he did not apologize at all.
To the managers, please train employees, especially young workers. Cons North Glendale ave.

User's recommendation: Never improve so nothing to comment.
Expectations
From what I've seen, this "opportunity" has been presented as financial freedom/ lifetime without boundaries/ time and money at the same time, etc. How many of their reps can honestly say that has materialized for them?
Even their most senior reps - how many have had to walk away from homes because they could not pay their mortgage? How many have creditors filing liens against them because they have not paid their bills or taxes? You might want to look this info up yourself before you join. It appears that it is mostly the same SVPs and RVPs that remain at the top of the "recognition" heap - for many years....
This is also easy to verify, but ask yourself how that could be, if this financial freedom opportunity that is presented to you actually works. Or, is it just the people at the top just managing cash flow? And the worst part of this is the failure rate of some top people that claim to be success mentors. The way some credentials are embellished is pathetic, and should be embarrassing to those people.
That should tell you something as you consider having these folks as business mentors.
To be fair, ask each one of them to provide you with a proper resume that shows the success that is behind their claims of wisdom. This is not about me, it's about you.

Verified ReviewerContact the United States Attorney and the Attorney General of North Carolina
Hello: I signed up with ACN, on December 3, 2018, at ACN's Long Beach, California convention. The IBO (Independent Business Operator) number ACN gave me was: 0387****.
From the beginning, when ACN's VIVINT staff visited my home to make plans to install security system for my family's music studio, in the rear of our property, things that were told to me at the Long Beach convention were not supported by the staffperson who came to my house. First off, the iron security gate is magnetic and a huge deterrent to reliable electronic signals and security alerts. However, at the Long Beach convention, the ACN people stated "iron security gate? No problem.
We can handle that. It will not cause any problems in your security installation or performance afterwards." A couple of other things motivated me to ask for my four-digit refund, which came in a couple of days. My experience with ACN's Xoom Energy has been terrible. Xoom Energy regularly charged my household what Southern California Gas was charging me I was making two (2!) gas utility payments each month!
Yet ACN sold the Xoom Energy utility addition as a substantially "discounted utility service." ACN's Flash Digital Phone system I purchased, only to realize my $38.00 payment was a waste for a system that was unworkable and for which I had no use. Who wants a product that does not work? I wrote to ACN, several months ago, in 2019, explaining all of this and asking for my $499 membership fee, as well as ALL of my Xoom Energy payments, and my ACN Back Office payments. ACN then asked me to fill out their official ACN membership cancellation and withdrawal form.
I did that, also several months ago, in 2019. Since 2003, I have worked as an Expert Witness/Trial Consultant for the United States' Superior Court system. I've also served the United States Court (Appeals) Public Defender Training Branch. I am SO grateful that I have an opportunity to confer with North Carolina Attorney General Josh Stein's attorneys AND the United States Department of Justice attorneys, in Charlotte, North Carolina.
After many months of no response from ACN, except to continue to debit my credit card to pay for Xoom and ACN Flash Phone service (after stipulating that I fill out the "official" ACN member termination form), I am VERY comfortable in telling of my ACN experience to BOTH the U.S. Attorney, in Charlotte, North Carolina, and to the staff attorneys in the North Carolina Attorney General's office. All ACN had to do was honor their word to reimburse me, following my filling out their required membership termination form. How can such an organization defend others' bait-and-switch and racketeering allegations, when questioned by United States attorneys, as well as my own consumer complaints to the North Carolina Attorney General, when their very ACTIONS scream to be investigated.
I want to reiterate my above recommendation to future customers: Make certain you establish contact with BOTH the United States Attorney with offices at Charlotte, North Carolina; AND the Attorney General for the state of North Carolina. I should have done that a long time ago; in fact, I ought to have established these law enforcement and legal vital connections the same day I asked ACN for a refund of EVERYTHING and they stipulated the filling out of an official ACN membership termination form. I am OPTIMISTIC the Attorney General and/or the United States Attorney will GREATLY help me in resolving, to my benefit, my truthful, reasonable, and valid complaint against ACN. Happy New Year!
